Managing Admins
Add, remove, and configure admin permissions
The Administrators section lets you manage who has access to your panel and what they can do. You can add sub-administrators with granular per-tab permissions, so each admin sees only the parts of the panel they need.
This section is only visible to the server owner (the Steam account that was used to add the server). Sub-admins cannot manage other admins.
The server owner (the account that added the server) already has full access to everything. You don't need to add yourself to the admin list.
Adding a New Admin
Navigate to Settings
Open the sidebar and expand the Settings section. Click General.
Enter admin details
In the Administrators card, you will see two input fields at the bottom:
- Steam ID -- the admin's SteamID64 (a 17-digit number starting with
76561198or76561199) - Display name -- a friendly name to identify this admin in the list
Click "Add Admin"
The new admin appears in the list with default permissions (all tabs set to none). You need to configure their permissions next.
Set permissions
Click the Permissions button on the new admin's row to open the permissions modal. Set the access level for each tab and close the modal. Changes save automatically as you select each permission.
Permission Levels
Each panel tab can be set to one of three access levels:
| Level | What it means |
|---|---|
| None | The tab is completely hidden from the admin's sidebar. They cannot access it. |
| View | The admin can see the data on that tab but cannot perform any actions. |
| Manage | Full access -- the admin can view data and perform all actions on that tab. |
Configurable Tabs
Permissions can be set individually for each of these tabs:
| Tab | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Server overview, activity feed, online players |
| Console | Server command execution |
| Players | Player list, profiles, kick/ban/teleport actions |
| Squads | Squad information and management |
| World | World data (bases, vehicles, containers, items) |
| Stats | Server-wide statistics and leaderboards |
| Map | Live server map |
| Config | Server configuration file editing |
Settings access
The Settings section itself (General, Discord, Packs, Messages, API) is always restricted to the server owner. Sub-admins never see the Settings navigation items regardless of their permission levels.
Editing Permissions
To change an existing admin's permissions:
- Find the admin in the list
- Click the Permissions button (gear icon)
- In the modal, change any tab's dropdown from the current level to the desired level
- Each change saves immediately -- there is no separate save button
Removing an Admin
To remove an admin, click the Remove button (red) on their row. A confirmation dialog will appear. Once confirmed, the admin is deleted immediately and loses all panel access on their next page load.
Removal is instant
Removing an admin does not kick them from an active session immediately. Their current session will continue to work until they navigate to a new page or their session expires. To force them out, you can also adjust the session timeout in the security settings.
Excluded Steam IDs
Above the admin list, you can add Steam IDs to the exclusion list. Commands and chat from excluded accounts will be hidden from activity feeds, console logs, and Discord forwarding. Useful for bot accounts or test accounts that generate noise.
How Admin Login Works
Sub-admins log in the same way as the server owner — through the Sign in with Steam button on the panel login page.
There is no separate enable/disable toggle in the panel UI. If an admin entry exists in the list, they can log in. To revoke access, remove them.
Common Issues
Admin can't log in
Make sure the Steam ID is in SteamID64 format — a 17-digit number. Don't use SteamID32 or a custom profile URL. Use steamid.io to convert if needed.
Admin sees an empty panel
All permissions are set to none by default. Open the admin's permissions and set at least one tab to view or manage.
Duplicate Steam ID error
Each Steam ID can only appear once. Remove the existing entry first if you need to re-add it.
