How to log in to the WardenCore panel
The WardenCore web panel runs directly on your SCUM server. To access it, you need to authenticate with your Steam account.
Opening the Panel
Navigate to the following address in your browser:
http://your-server-ip:http-port/Replace your-server-ip with the IP address of your game server and http-port with the HTTP port configured for WardenCore (the one you set when adding the server).
Logging In
Open the login page
When you visit the panel URL, you will see the WardenCore login screen with the Sign in with Steam button.
Click "Sign in with Steam"
Click the Steam login button. Your browser will redirect to the official Steam website.
Authorize the application
On the Steam page, sign in to your Steam account (if not already signed in) and authorize WardenCore to verify your identity. Steam only shares your public profile information -- WardenCore never sees your password.
You are in
After authorizing, Steam redirects you back to the WardenCore panel. You will land on the Dashboard. The pages and features available to you depend on your admin permissions.
First-time access
On a fresh installation, only the Steam account that was used to add the server has access. Additional admins can be added later through the panel's Settings section.
What Happens After Login
Once authenticated, the panel loads your profile and applies your permissions. Depending on your role, you may see all navigation items or only a subset:
- Dashboard — server overview and activity feed
- Console — execute server commands
- Players — player list and management
- Squads, World, Stats, Map — server data pages
- Config — server configuration
- Settings — General (admin management), Discord, Packs, Messages, API (owner only)
Your session persists across browser tabs. To sign out, click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Sign out.
Common Issues
Access Denied
If you see the login screen but cannot get past it, your Steam ID is not in the admin list. Ask the server owner to add your Steam ID through the Settings page.
Page won't load
The panel only works when the game server is running — WardenCore serves the panel directly from the server. Make sure the server is online and your HTTP port is open in the firewall.
Steam login loops or fails
If clicking "Sign in with Steam" keeps bringing you back to the login page:
- Clear your browser cookies for the panel URL
- Try opening the panel in an incognito/private window
- Make sure your Steam account is not restricted or limited
